Green Energy
Green energy is a form of renewable energy which is a key to world’s success. Renewable energy means it can be renewed again and again and provide us with the benefits that any energy gives us. Renewable energy can be taken from natural resources like water, wind, or sun. Green energy does not harm nature and produces any pollution. Green energy is an effort to save nature from exploitation and help us keep it clean and green. The sources of green energy are actually helping us conserve energy and save resources that cannot be renewed again for our generations to come. The reason for calling this type of energy as green energy is that it does not contribute towards global warming and does not pollute the environment. The green energy can be changed into useable electrical energy by the use f windmills and solar panels and water heating or passive heating.
Sun is the most important source of energy and the energy taken from sun has uses manifold.
1. The solar energy can be changed into electrical energy. Solar energy can be used in green homes by harnessing it through solar panels and changing it into electrical energy.
2. Passive energy can be utilized to heat water for domestic purposes, laundry and bathroom.
Use of passive energy can hugely lower down the electrical bill for homeowners or eliminate it completely. Wind energy has been used for several years to do many mechanical tasks like running the windmills to pump water. Windmills can be used to compliment solar panels in an alternative power configuration. With sun, no pollutants are produced. Although it is a great idea to stay in an airy location to take complete benefit of utilizing the wind as a supplement power source. Water can be utilized as a great power source. It is a great idea to live near to running water. It is also eco-friendly and as other sources of energy. Green energy sources do not have to depend on fossil fuels and do not produce pollution but they can hugely decrease electricity expense. There are many other ways through which use of green energy can be made. When machines and advanced equipments were not available, people used to separate husk from the grains utilizing wind energy. The same can be done today, it is little bit more time consuming but can save power considerably. Also, street lights can be made to work on solar energy. By using solar panels with photovoltaic cells, the solar energy can be trapped during the day which can be used to provide power to electric lights during the day. This step can save power hugely. Using cycles or vehicles that makes use of manual labor to move can help saving fuel. Fuel and petrol cannot be replenished easily, so wise usage of such sources is helpful in saving energy. Manual labor keeps a person fit and healthy as well.
